I am not a photographer.
Sure, I have freelanced as a photographer on-and-off for years and somewhere in a drawer there's the degree in Digital Photography, but instead of a profession, I call it my passion. I am fortunate to have lived in countries different from my homeland, providing inspiration and topics for years to come.
One of these interests is fooling the eye, and what better place to exercise my passion than La La Land!
Native to Southern California, hiding in plain sight, yet invisible to most people - the cell tower palm trees are a trompe l'oeil dotting the skylines of the Golden State.
Constructed to fool us and to connect us, these "trees" come in a fascinatingly varied array of designs: lush and leafy to dry and needing a trim.
Because of your project, I cannot trust any tree I see in LA.
